Can I cancel, edit, or combine my orders?

Because we are a small, independent team doing our best to get your orders beautifully packaged and out the door as quickly as possible, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, changes, or order combinations once a purchase is completed.

Each order is processed individually through our system to keep our fulfillment moving smoothly and accurately. We highly recommend taking a quick, double-check moment at checkout to ensure your shipping address, mesh sizes, and cart items are exactly how you want them before completing your purchase.

What is a “pre-order” and how long will it take to ship?

A pre-order allows you to secure a highly anticipated canvas before it is physically in stock or while a popular design is being freshly replicated. Because hand-painted needlepoint is an incredibly intentional, time-intensive craft, these canvases are essentially made to order just for you.

When you place a pre-order, we submit that exact count directly to our artists and painters. On average, a pre-ordered canvas takes between 2 to 4 months to be meticulously painted, dried, inspected, and delivered to our studio. As we grow, we intend to stock more so we can ship quickly. Each design drop will have a certain number on hand to start. 

Because we are a small business, we do our very best to keep things moving as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. We will always keep you updated along the way, and the moment your canvas arrives and passes our quality check, we will package it beautifully and send a tracking link straight to your inbox.

What are the margins around your canvases?

All of our canvas designs have a 2” border around all sides. This leaves plenty of room for finishing and stretcher bars. 

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because our needlepoint canvases are hand-painted to order with meticulous detail, all sales are final. We are currently unable to accept returns or exchanges.

We want you to love your stitching experience, so please review the mesh size, dimensions, and design details carefully before completing your purchase. If your canvas arrives damaged, defective, or if there was a mix-up with your order, please reach out to us at thethreadeditstudio@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue so we can make it right.

Can you do a custom design for an event or my LNS?

Yes! We would be happy to work with you on a custom design for your event or a design exclusive to your store. Please email us with the details.

I love one of your designs. Are you able to modify the color scheme?

Yes! If you have specific colors in mind we can edit them but will have a minimum order. Could be as low as 10. As we sell we will pay attention to color request and do drops in other patterns/colors as the requests/pre-orders come in.
